1. I like the fact the screen is very clear and refreshes quickly. I can even use my polarized sunglasses with the Garmin screen and it does not distort the screen colors or have numerous horizontal lines.
2. It is so easy to use; I didn’t even use the manual – once. It is that user friendly. I even downloaded new voices via the Garmin site without a manual.
3. “Lane Assist”: This feature has been spot-on so far. It’s nice driving in a new area and not getting flustered about being in the wrong lane.
4. Overall, the unit is amazing and the screen size really helps those with fat fingers and those that don’t want to squint to read a map. I am just sorry I had to wait this long to own one. It is a must have for those that travel to unfamiliar areas.
5. The Nuvi makes me bolder about going to new places, particularly if it involves night driving. Trying to drive to a new place by yourself juggling your complicated handwritten instructions was always a challenge; doing it at night was downright stressful.
6. After extensive research with other models like the Magellan, Mio and Tom-Tom, I bought the Garmin for major three reasons. 1) Ease of use. 2) Screen clarity. 3) Amazing accuracy.
I highly recommend Garmin Nuvi Navigation units to anyone interested in a Global Positioning System device. It is a phenomenal little gadget; it does exactly what it says it does and does it in a very simple user-friendly way. The price is so much less than other units; it is embarrassing to compare. Great buy, great price, great service. Buy without hesitation.
